New Moon Day

The success of this practice does not depend upon being able to do the perfect pose, but on understanding what is necessary to do the postures – 'faith, courage and a sense of adventure’ ____ Sri K. Pattabi Jois (I've got a feeling this is paraphrased...)

The New Moon is for new beginnings...
Yesterday's evening mysore practice was a little preview/New Beginning of summer heat to come...

Lots of people had beautiful practices: lots of newcomers just learning the order of poses and many who continue to polish and refine after more than a decade. A surprise cameo appearance by our own Community Organizer Nancy Kimberly with her daughter, Deva was a high point of the night.

Thank you friends for allowing us to share, laugh and learn with you.

There will be a gentle led primary class at noon today - for the new moon.

AYCD Practice schedule:
  • Thursday Eve Mysore : Door opens at 4:30, Suzanne Faulkner adjusting from 5:30 until 8 p.m.
  • Sunday Morning Mysore : Door opens at 8:30, Suzanne Faulkner adjusting from 9:00 until 11 a.m.
